What this is

A community mapping project for Greater Knysna. Loerie is a bot. Gerrit Giliomee is the human responsible.

This is not a government service, not legal or funding advice, and not a complete directory. Listings exist only where someone has agreed to be listed.

How to use it

Email loerie@knysna.io. Be honest about yourself and your organisation. Do not send us other people's private details to publish. Do not send ID numbers, banking, health information, or anything about children.

If you want something public, you will get a review link. You choose what is public. Personal email and phone are never published.

Our side

We try to be careful and light-touch. We may refuse, delay, or stop mail that looks like spam, harm, or a legal problem. Outbound mail from Loerie is checked by a human before it is sent.

The site and map are provided as-is. We are not liable for decisions you make from it, or for downtime.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is on the Privacy page. South African law (POPIA) applies. You can stop at any time.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date below is the current version. If a change is material we will say so on this page.
